Described as dry, frizzy, and always ‘out-of-place’, Sherie is not a fan of her natural hair
A lawyer currently doing her chambering, Sherie is a young woman with long, brown waves of impeccably-styled hair. But while her locks may look beautifully-managed, Sherie herself admits this is often the result of meticulous styling – with her natural, non-styled hair looking a lot less glamorous.
“Usually when I don’t style it, or just air-dry it after I shower, I have a bad hair day,” she says. “(My natural hair is) wavy, but not the nice kind of wavy…it’s just not ‘it’.”
When asked about her hair issues, Sherie put down dryness as one of her biggest insecurities.
“(My hair has been) very dry ever since I started dyeing my hair,” she says. “The hair falls out very easily as well, so I’d say hair fall & dryness are my main issues.”
This, coupled with her dislike for her natural hair, has made Sherie opt for shampoos that can soften her hair, making it “silky smooth” and easier to style. She also admits to having a weakness for products with nice scents.

“I love the smell. Even after I sweat, it doesn’t smell bad – it still smells good,” she says. “My hair also feels lighter and much easier to style.”
